Yu Physics

Program overview

Physics depends on observation, as well as imagination, logic, and reasoning. It's not just about seeing the world with wide open eyes, but knowing what to look for and how things are interconnected. We begin this journey by looking at some of nature's basic rules.

Yu Physics was founded in 2023 by Mr. Yu, an accomplished educator and industry expert with more than 20 years of experience in electronics and semiconductors, as well as extensive expertise in education and coaching. Mr. Yu holds a B.S. in Physics from Tsinghua University and a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from a U.S. university.

In 2026, one of our students was selected as a member of the U.S. Physics Olympiad Team! Two other students also advanced in the USAPhO Exam: one earned a Silver Medal, and another, a ninth grader received an Honorable Mention.

In 2025, 3 of our students advanced to the USA Physics Olympiad semifinals, with 2 earning Silver Medals!

Each year, many of our students earn a perfect score of 5 on their AP Physics exams.
